Panorama Mountain Resort, British Columbia, Canada
Feb. 24 to Mar. 3
4000 vertical feet, over 2,847 patrolled acres of beginner, intermediate and expert terrain accessed via 9 lifts, intimate slope side village, giant hot tubs and majestic Rocky Mountain scenery... Need we say more? We have Awesome accommodations at the Panorama Springs Hotel! Ski in Ski out at the base of the mountain, huge heated pools and hot tubs (With Hot Pool Trivia every Tuesday and Thursday!), a side trip to Kicking Horse, and more activities right at your door!
This trip was designed for the skier in mind, no crowds, no lift lines, great terrain for every level (and a ton of it too!), and the beauty of the Canadian Rockies right at your feet! Panorama and Kicking Horse were once Heli-Ski only destinations and have only recently opened their mountains to lifts and lodging. You will be skiing on terrain most people pay thousands of dollars to access!
Panorama is still an unknown gem and the Cincinnati Ski Club is excited to have found it before the rest of the world. We only have 44 spaces available and the "Buzz" has already started about this trip so you definitely want to get in on this action! The price is right and I'm certain the trip will fill on the first night of Sign-Ups in July. More info to come so check back often.

Bormio, Italy, Europe
Mar.10-17, 2007
Bormio is great, especially if skiing and being in Europe is new to you. This is about to be your first ski foray into Europe, and someone has told you that Italy is very good value at the moment. So far so good. But you want to visit the real Italy. You want to prowl the old streets, eat at real Tratorias, drink red wine with the locals. At the same time you really do not want to surrender your creature comforts. After all you have worked long and hard to be able to take the time to enjoy this holiday, and you really are not interested in roughing it.
Try Bormio The resort is neatly divided into an "old town" and a "new town" and each in its own right should deliver exactly what you feel you might be looking for. Bormio in Italy's Sondrio province is a unique combination of the old and the new. It is a mountain town at the foot of Passo Stelvio, which, by the way, is open to skiers and cars only in summer. The old town which is where the majority of shopping and some of the hotels are located, still retains much of its magical Italian charm and way of life.
Bormio offers a good mix of high, snowsure pistes and woodland runs, giving some excellent long runs. Worthwhile neighboring resorts on the Valtellina lift pass. Attractive medieval town center - quite unlike any other winter resort. And, Good mountain restaurants.
We'll have more information as soon as we receive it. Planning is still ongoing for pre and post trip extensions and prices are not yet set.

Lake Tahoe, Nevada/California
Mar. 17-24, 2007
Mark Twain said, "To obtain the air the angels breathe, you must go to Tahoe."
Heavenly, besides reaching into the sky, reaches into your soul. It's 10,067 feet of exhilaration, the highest elevation of any resort at Lake Tahoe. The views rivet you. You'll find 4,800 ski able acres. The most vertical feet in the region. 30 lifts that take you to 91 runs. Hair-raising steeps. Powder-filled bowls. Picture book tree runs. Wide-open, groomed boulevards. In other words, challenges await, no matter what your skill level.
One third of this mountain gives envelope-pushers a place to push themselves. While the other two-thirds offers beginners and intermediates excellent terrain to have fun with while honing their skills. Weather? How about 76% sunny days and 360 inches of snow in a season.
A mountain so big it has to be seen to be believed. And even then you won't believe it...
In addition to skiing Heavenly, we hope to have options to ski some of the other resorts in the area (Kirkwood, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows to name a few). Click on the Tahoe logo above for more information!
