Water Skiing & Boating

When summer rolls around we trade in our snow skis for water skis and hit the lakes for the weekend. We usually stay in condos or chalets at Norris Lake, Dale Hollow or Cumberland.

Sometimes we offer an economical camping trip. Boats and meals are provided—just bring your sunscreen. You don’t even have to be a water skier to enjoy these summer trips, but if you’d like to learn this is your chance. Many of our members just go for the fun and the sun!

Information about our summer trips is usually available in March and current trips will be shown below.

You must be a member of CSC or one of the OVSC clubs to go on these trips. It's easy to join and easy to sign up for a fabulous water skiing weekend.

Water Ski - Norris Lake

Join us 'south of the border', well, at least 'south of the Mason Dixon Line' for a great time on beautiful Norris Lake.

We will be leaving on July 18 for fun, sun, great food and parties.

There will be a fiesta on Saturday with special food and drinks, then you can dance the night away. Bring your sombrero and poncho and any special music you want for dancing.

On Friday, Sue Marshall has volunteered to provide a fantastic dinner for us. Following dinner, there will be cards and music in the chalet and music on the dock.

Of course we will have a social swim everyday. We will meet on the lake and eat the lunch you made that morning. Then continue to drink and party in the water.

We have the best boat owners! Want to try skiing? Our boat owners will get you skiing! Everyone in the boat watches and helps let the boat owner know when the skier is down.

Here is what you need to bring:
your adult beverages and soda
swim suit, beach towel, sunscreen
sombrero and poncho
a sense of humor
a willingness to help fix food and clean up

SO COME ON DOWN TO THE MOST BEAUTIFUL LAKE IN OUR AREA!!!

Water Skiing at Dale Hollow

The club is going back to Dale Hollow East Port Marina by popular demand!

We will be staying at the same rustic large wooden cabin that we stayed in the last two years. The house sleeps 25 in beds. Always nice to all be together for a fun weekend.

I promise you will have all the skiing you want, thanks to a great group of boat owners, if you don’t ski, no problem man, sit back and soak in the beautiful lake.
