Looking for things to do in Cincinnati? Then you’ve come to the right place. We get together all year round to do a wide variety of things. Our activities are so varied that there’s something for everyone. Here’s a short list: Dance lessons at our meetings; TGIF happy hours; Reds games, Bengals games, Hockey games; canoeing; bowling; theater; wine tastings; and dances. We had so much fun with this last year that we are going to do it again!!!
If you did not come with us last year you miss a ton of fun. You can bring your own cooler of your favorite bevies and challenge you skill and senses.
We are fortunate to have the Wyoming Civic Center close by as it's the only place in the entire Midwest that offers Candlepin bowling. What makes this game different from other forms of bowling is the shape of the pins and the size of the balls. The pins stand 15 3/4 inches tall with a taper on both ends giving them the appearance of candles hence the name candlepins. The balls are 4 1/2 inches with a maximum weight of 2.5 pounds (with no finger holes). The game consist of ten frames in which you roll 3 balls instead of 2 balls. The lane is 60 foot bowling lane and then all the pins that are knocked down remain where they fall until that frame is completed enabling the bowler to use fallen pins to knock down other standing pins. This creates a whole new game with an endless number of shots.

Rafters can choose between the Upper or Lower River. This will be a 2 night package which includes 2 night lodging, three meals on Saturday and the rafting fee. We currently have two "RUSTIC" cabins that sleep 8 each. But if we get more than 16 people we can get more space.
