Canaan Valley Trip March, 2010
We enjoyed sunshine, beautiful West Virginia mountains and snow. They had over 30 inches the week we arrived on top of a record breaking winter. Who knew we had such great singers. Bruce skiied again after many years, Fran and Gary learned to Cross Country ski with Cheryl and Gary just tried everything moving his skiing up to the blues and a black after only his third day of skiing and raced. Tom, Rick and Don raced while the impaired watched from a snow covered and sunny deck. Thanks Cheryl and Lonnie for a great time.

TAOS, NEW MEXICO 'Fam' Trip
Hi - I went to Taos on a Familiarization Trip and it was fabulous. Taos is now open to boarders & skiers. I stayed at the SnakeDance Inn - a hotel/condo facility. Each unit had a full kitchen, fire places, 2-3 baths, rooms between 2-6 people, all king size beds (the deluxe mattresses-pillow tops) that split to accommodate singles, and yes - lift #1 was about 20 feet away. Taos is famous for their lessons. Traveling next Jan - the first week of Feb - they offer 2 hours of lessons per day, 6 days in a row, a video critique - with the same instructor for $99.00. A few of the additional perks for everyone on the trip - included is breakfast, a fleece ski vest, a gourmet dinner (really a fabulous dinner) at the home of the hotel owner, use of the hotels van for trips to the hot spas, a dining/shopping stop in Santa Fe on the way in from Albuq. airport. The feel of the resort of intimate, personal and great fun. Skiing/boarding was fantastic. The bowl was breathtakingly beautiful! Check it out.San
