Club makes the leap to web 2.0 and social networking

Welcome to the new Cincinnati Ski Club web site, packed with the web 2.0 and social networking features that will allow our community to connect!
On December 1, the Cincinnati Ski Club released its new web site powered by the Campusuite web content management system. Campusuite not only adds ease in the ability to manage every aspect of the web site, but also adds a load of social networking features allowing us to build our online community around the web site.
All of the site tools have been updated but special focus is put on the photo galleries. The photo galleries are new and improved and members now have the ability to begin uploading their videos! Members can request a login and manage their profile information including their profile picture or avatar. Anyone visiting the web site can look at our member profile pages, and even recent photo galleries uploaded by the member.
The club is on the lookout for good imagery to use around the new site, so log in and get uploading. Jason is currently assembling a quick tutorial on how to use the new photo galleries, but you will find the process has been greatly streamlined.
People using smart phones and other PDA's can access the mobile site using m.cinski.org. That's right, get news, events and contact information right to your phone. Also look for the available RSS feeds around the site. You can use these in your readers or add content to other sites you are members of.
Attention previous content publishers. If you were a designated publisher who made updates to one or more areas of the old web site, contact Jason Morgan and he will get you set back up to manage your new area.
Many new enhancements are still coming, so stop back often to see what's new. We are sure you will love the latest site enhancements and as always, we welcome your feedback.
