St. Pat's Day Parade

02/26/10

ST. PATRICK’S DAY PARADE

Staging area: We are in the Second Division (St. Brigid Division BLUE), Butler Street south of Sentinal Street (kind of under I-71 -see map).

Our parade number: 222 So, group 221 is in front of us - we are a ski boat being towed by a truck.

Boat/truck: You need to be in line by 8.55 am (Craig Cox/Bruce Black/Tom Kleckner)

Marchers: Please be there by 9:30-10:00 am. Our division starts moving at 10:45 am. Port-a-johns will be there.

Parking: Use the Eggleston lot next to our staging area (see map). Please car pool.

Planning for Pickup at the end of the parade: Need some people to leave cars at the end to ferry people back. The parade terminates at the parking lot south of Third and West Central Ave. (see map) There will be a shuttle to get parade participants back to the staging area; however, we strongly recommend having a designated driver. After dropping off marchers, the driver can head south on Eggleston Avenue, make a right (westbound) on Pete Rose Way, make a left (southbound) on Mehring Way, and then right (northbound) on Smith Street to access the lot where the parade terminates.

Read the St. Pats flyer on rules, maps, etc. Click here to see the flyer.
