Candlepin Bowling April 17

If you did not come with us last year you missed a ton of fun. You can bring your own cooler of your favorite beverages and challenge your skills.

We are fortunate to have the only place in the entire Midwest that offers Candlepin bowling. What makes this game different from other forms of bowling is the shape of the pins and the size of the balls. The pins stand 15 3/4 inches tall with a taper on both ends giving them the appearance of candles hence the name candlepins. The balls are 4 1/2 inches with a maximum weight of 2.5 pounds (with no finger holes). The game consists of ten frames in which you roll 3 balls instead of 2 balls. This creates a whole new game with an endless number of shots.
