Taking a ski trip with the Cincinnati Ski Club is fun and it’s easy to sign up—just come to a ski club meeting or contact the trip leaders directly.

You must be a member of the Cincinnati Ski Club (or an Ohio Valley Ski Council club), sign a waiver form, and give your checks to the trip leader to be officially signed up for one of our trips. If you’re not currently a member, you can download a membership application. We have a great line up of trips this year offering lots of variety. Hope you’ll join us.

Ski Steamboat

STEAMBOAT COLORADO OVSC TRIP
January 28 - February 4, 2012
Cost: Full Option: $1382 Ground Option: $969

 

Trip Status: Full with 38 spots total; no wait list.

We last visited STEAMBOAT in 2008 and we are staying in the same property - The Lodge with a mix of 3 bdr/3 bath and 2 bdr/2 bath condos. Steamboat Springs has much to offer…great skiing for every level, a terrific ski village and a historic old town with lots to do. It not a surprise this is always a favorite destination for our club. The base area and surrounding village have undergone a great deal of renovation in the past 2 years but the champagne powder and tree skiing that the area is known for remain unchanged. Included is a 5 day lift ticket (6th day is available).

We are flying non-stop to Denver then via bus to Steamboat.

This is an OVSC trip so there are lots of extras including welcome party, mid week apres ski party, mountain picnic, Nastar race, award dinner and souvenir pin.

Cancellation Policy: Before 10/19/11 is $20, after 10/19/11 $20 plus all non-recoverable costs.

Ski Telluride

TELLURIDE COLORADO
February 11-18, 2012
Cost: Full option: $1620 Ground option: $1105

 

Trip Status: Full, expanded to 44 spots, 3 on wait list.

Telluride is breathtaking scenery plus the charm of an old mining town. The ski area is wonderful and was expanded a few years ago. You will enjoy non-existent lift lines. The restaurants range from casual and inexpensive to fine dining. Lots of fun night life. The last trip to Telluride was in 2009.

Includes:

  • Airfare from Cincinnati for full option
  • Ground transfers from Montrose to Telluride
  • 7 nights lodging at very high end Villas at Tristant in Mountain village. These are 4 bedroom / 4 bath 8 person condos, almost ski in/ski out via a ski bridge or private personal Villa lift with acess to lift 10 Sunshine Express.
  • 5 day lift ticket (6th day available at a discounted rate)
  • Pre and Post parties and a Party at the slopes
  • Flying United into Montrose via Chicago Ohare

Ski Timberline

Cost: $368.

For your money you will receive 3 days skiing, 3 nights lodging in the Timberline Hotel, double occupancy. Cost also includes 3 breakfasts, Friday night wine and cheese party and a Saturday night dinner at the hotel and all tips and taxes.

This is the Governor’s Cup weekend, so our racers will be looking for you to be there to cheer them on.
We will be staying at the Timberline slope front hotel (ski in/ski out).

Ski Sun Valley

SUN VALLEY IDAHO
March 3-10, 2012

We last skied Sun Valley in 2006, stayed in the same property - Sun Valley Lodge apartments and had a great time. We have 3 bdr/3 bath condos that accommodate 6 people. The resort area and the town have an abundance of restaurants, and night life. The area is Americas first major ski resort and had the first chair lift. Sun Valley’s Bald Mountain’s consistency of pitch, lack of lift lines and variety of terrain (with 75 runs of which 78% are blue/green) offers something for skiers of all levels.

Includes:

  • Pre and Post party and a party on the slopes
  • 5 day lift ticket (6th day is available)
  • Flying Delta - Cincinnati to Boise, via Salt Lake City, then by bus to Sun Valley
